A Cincinnati native, Shane Herzner brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to his clients. He earned his BA in Political Science with a concentration in Communications from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He then went on to the University of Dayton School of Law, graduating with his JD in 2001.
After law school, Shane began his legal career in civil practice. However, his passion for courtroom advocacy led him to pivot toward litigation. In 2005, he joined the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office, where he honed his trial skills as an Assistant Prosecutor until 2008.
Driven by a desire to take on greater challenges, Shane transitioned to criminal defense in 2009. After gaining valuable experience at two prominent Cincinnati law firms, he established his own practice in 2013.
Recognizing the importance of helping individuals and families secure their futures, Shane expanded his legal practice in 2024 by opening the Herzner Estate Planning firm. Through this new firm, Shane is able to assist clients in navigating the complexities of estate planning, including wills, trusts, and other tools to protect their assets and provide peace of mind.
